So, I discovered this great site called Sharethrough that calculates the strength of your headline using engagement factors like limited use of positive sentiment, the strength of its connection to its readers, and other things. The site also rates your headline based on Engagement and Impression.
My overall headline quality rating score for "Dog beheads helpless bunny and wears its skin" was 89%. My Engagement score was 100% so I think I picked a winner. I needed a little help with my Impression score as it was at 36%. So I took it's advice and dropped a brand in the title: San Diego Comic Con. That brought it up to 53%. Not bad.
Oh, I also drew a dog wearing bunny ears.
