super awesome last minute ghost explosion

So, I found a space to show some of the comicbook inspired work that i've been creating lately. It's really unofficial and last minute, but the art will be there! As well as food and booze available at the cafe bar. It's really a nice place, so there's a chance that my work will be up for a very limited amount of time, if you know what I mean. So come on by. There might be a band playing abstract jazz things. Maybe not. Embrace the chaos.

Cheers!

Robot Designs

These are sketches I made while sitting with my friend Doc at a local coffee brewhouse. I suppose they'd be happy with just about anything that was thrown at them. Although, they were programmed that way. Poor Bastards.

Thursday's Delicacies

I decided to spend all of Thursday drawing characters.

Go here to see more sketches. While drawing, I was listening to this avant garde audio podcast put out by People Like Us and Ergo Phizmiz called Codpaste. Their first episode contains samples and remixes of all our favorite cartoon composers. It will definitely light your brain on fire.

motorized Hilly Bills

So, I felt like rustling up some new characters this morning at Ritual Haus. This woodsy cat is so cool he only needs one wheel to do tricks - a born unicyclist. That other guy's his manager. He's not right in the head, though.

It's... It's....

Yeti was born in October 2007 in San Francisco. His first taste of public exposure was at a small halloween party that scared away the girl I was currently dating at the time. However, he made up for his mistake the following Wednesday, which was Halloween Night, by attacking the 12 Galaxies Club on Mission street and taking home the BEST COSTUME prize. Cash Monies! He almost paid my rent for me that month. Almost. Now, he's decided to show up when ever he damn well pleases to wish you all what ever he feels like wishing you.

So happy new years!
